Old Senseboard

Senseboard was the first development of the virtual keyboard. It started in 2001 at Uppsala University with two Master students. The first prototypes of Senseboard were based on simple touch sensors and a software that used similar technique that was used in some mobile phones – T9.

The technology in the old technology were all based on measuring the angle at the metacarpophalangeal joint…

Senseboard was one of the exhibitors at COMDEX 2001

The sensors can be used to make the Senseboard a Gesture device or a Keyboard device
