Lars Asplund - Chief Technology Officer

PhD in Physics, has led the technical development of Senseboard® from the very beginning in 2001. He also has extensive knowledge in commercialization of other technical innovations. Professor Asplund has founded three companies, of which Asplund Data AB, is the Scandinavian representative for Ada Core Technologies, New York. Professor Asplund has also been a board member of Ada Europe. Together with Mitec Intstrument AB and the Swedish Institute for Building Research, Asplund Data AB has developed a system for monitoring and energy analysis of residential buildings.
Professor Asplund is an expert in physics, electronics, computer systems including System on Chip (SoC), as well as artificial intelligence systems, all relevant for the Senseboard® Wearable Data Entry Platform. During a six-year period (1973-78) Professor Asplund worked closely together with Nobel Laureate Kai Siegbahn in his research of high-resolution electron spectroscopy, a research that led to the Nobel Prize in physics in 1981. |
